I am a Kansas City native. I began my mortgage career in 1993 after graduating with finance degree from Kansas State University. I had banking experience in college and always had a love for real estate. After college I dove into the mortgage origination business and knew I had found my calling as a loan officer. I have not looked back since.
From day one I knew that educating my clients was very important in the process. I worked diligently to be their trusted advisor and find the best product to meet their needs. I have always tried to look at the customer’s whole financial situation. Picking the wrong mortgage product can have tremendous impact on any client’s future. I have worked most of my career in an environment that allowed me to be very involved in the purchase process. Most of my referrals came directly from real estate agents that trusted me to help their clients achieve the goal of home ownership. In today’s current regulatory market it is so important to work with a loan originator with experience in handling different situations.
Truly I just love what I do every day. I love the joy of going to a first-time homebuyer closing. I love the move-up buyer getting more bedrooms for their growing family. I love refinancing a borrower and saving them money monthly or shortening term. I love helping with any loan big or small.
When I am not at work I love to attend just about any sporting event or concert. I enjoy spending time and traveling with my husband, stepson, and other family and friends.
